Module 01 of 06 · Zentry Pass™

Industrial visitor management.

Audit-ready, not just digital.

Replace the paper register at your plant gate with a self-service kiosk + e-Invite workflow that captures the NDA, photo, ID, host alert and tamper-evident timestamp, the four pieces of evidence DPDPA, §41C and Schedule M inspectors actually ask for.

What it does

The plant gate, finally digital.
And finally audit-defensible.

Every industrial plant in India has the same morning ritual at the main gate. A visitor walks up. The guard hands over a paper register. The visitor scribbles their name, sometimes their company, sometimes their phone number. The guard calls the host. The host walks down. Twenty minutes later, the visit is recorded, sort of, in a book that no one will ever audit, because no one can read the handwriting.

Zentry Pass ends that ritual. At the kiosk, every visitor self-registers in the language they speak. They sign the NDA on screen. They scan their ID proof. They take a photo. The host gets an instant SMS / WhatsApp / email alert. A printed or digital badge is issued. And, most importantly, every one of those steps generates a signed, timestamped event in the audit log. The next time an auditor walks in, you don't go searching for the visitor book. You export a PDF.

What this means in the field:

  • The DPDPA inspector asks for consent records → exported in one click.
  • The §41C inspector asks who was inside the MAH unit last Tuesday → filtered by zone and timestamp.
  • The Schedule M auditor wants induction proof for every visitor → cross-referenced with Induct certificates.
  • The HR head wants visitor analytics for the quarter → dashboard, not a calculator.
  • The plant CFO wants to know vendor agency footprint → traceable to the agency and PO.

One workflow at the gate. Five different evidence packs at audit time. Zero rewriting.

Every kiosk event anchors to a Gate in/out log. One visitor, one timeline, one record.

Compliance hooks

Five statutes. One module.

Pass produces the evidence each of these inspectors actually asks for.

DPDPA 2023

In-product consent capture, India-resident PII storage, right-to-erasure workflow, signed access log per PII operation.

Factories Act §41C

MAH unit visitor evidence, every entry signed and timestamped, zone-bound, exportable for §41C audits.

Schedule M 2024

Pharma GMP visitor + induction trail, Pass visitor records cross-link with Induct certificate validity at entry.

FSSAI Schedule 4

Food & FMCG plant visitor controls, visitor PII, hygiene attestation, host approval log packaged for FSSAI inspection.

MSIHC 1989

Chemical / petrochem MAH visitor controls, escort tracking, hazard zone disclosure, full evidence chain.

Who buys Pass™

Three heads. Three reasons. Same gate.

Admin HeadGA / Facilities

Pain: Paper visitor register chaos. NDA tracking impossible. Visitor experience embarrassing for senior visitors.

Pass answer: Self-service kiosk, e-Invite, branded experience. The visitor is in and badged in under 3 minutes.

Security HeadCSO / Plant Security

Pain: Watchlist gaps. No real evidence trail at the gate. Audit findings on access control year after year.

Pass answer: Watchlist match, photo capture, signed audit log per entry. IS 14489 and IATF surveillance ready.

EHS HeadSafety / HSE

Pain: MAH-unit liability. Schedule M induction trail. §41C and MSIHC visitor exposure undocumented.

Pass answer: Visitor induction enforced at the kiosk. Hazard-zone disclosure logged. Schedule M, §41C, MSIHC evidence packaged.

Deployment

Pass™ runs on all three tiers.

Same workflows, same evidence chain. Choose the data-residency posture your plant needs.

Cloud

Fastest deploy. India-resident, multi-AZ. Multi-plant console.

  • Pass runs in the cloud, kiosks connect via plant Wi-Fi
  • Central console for multi-plant visitor analytics
  • Automatic updates & patching
Best for

Multi-plant operators · auto Tier-1 · IT-mature plants

On-Premise

Fully air-gapped. Zero internet. Maximum data sovereignty.

  • Pass runs entirely offline at the plant
  • All visitor records, NDAs, photos stay at the plant
  • USB / LAN-only updates
Best for

MAH chemical plants · MSIHC-regulated units · defence-adjacent supply chain

Customer outcome

Anonymised composite · Tier-1 auto plant · Chakan

14 days → 2 daysAudit-prep time before IATF surveillance

Pre-Pass, the plant's IATF surveillance prep involved three HR staff for two weeks reconstructing visitor records from paper books, security WhatsApp groups, and badge stubs. Post-Pass, every IATF-relevant visitor visit was already in the audit log, exported as a 42-page evidence pack in one click. The auditor finished the access-control section in 90 minutes. Composite story drawn from real deployments. Industry, geography and metrics are representative.

Pass™ FAQ

Inspector questions, plainly answered.

What does Pass replace at the plant gate?

The paper visitor register, the security guard's notebook, the disconnected NDA-on-clipboard, and the WhatsApp message asking the host to come down. Pass consolidates all of these into one self-service kiosk + e-Invite workflow with NDA capture, photo, ID proof, host alert and a tamper-evident timestamp.

Is Pass DPDPA 2023 compliant for visitor PII handling?

Yes. Pass captures explicit consent before storing any visitor PII, supports India-resident data storage on all three deployment tiers, provides granular consent withdrawal and right-to-erasure workflows, and produces signed audit logs for every PII operation.

Can Pass run without internet at our plant?

Yes. On the On-Premise (air-gapped) tier, Pass runs entirely at the plant with no internet dependency. Visitor data, NDAs, photos and host alerts all process locally. Audit logs are exported via USB or LAN. Suitable for MAH units, defence-adjacent plants and any zero-trust environment.

How long does Pass take to deploy at a single gate?

A single-gate Pass deployment goes live in 1–2 weeks from contract sign-off. This includes kiosk install, host directory sync, NDA template setup, and a half-day operator training. Multi-gate plants take 3–4 weeks total.

Which languages does the kiosk support?

English plus ten Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Odia. Visitors pick their language on the welcome screen; the entire flow localises automatically.

Does Pass work with our existing turnstiles and biometric readers?

Yes. Pass is hardware-agnostic and integrates with ZKTeco, Suprema, Matrix, ESSL, Honeywell, Hikvision, Milesight and most major turnstile brands.

How does Pass work alongside Gate?

Pass captures the visitor identity and consent at the kiosk; Gate records the actual in/out events at the access point. The two share a single audit trail, a visitor's NDA, photo, ID, host alert and zone-level access log are stitched into one event per visitor per visit. The auditor sees one record, not seven.

What evidence does Pass produce for an audit?

For each visit: timestamped photo, captured ID proof, signed NDA, host approval log, badge issue/return log, in-time and out-time, and visited zones. All entries are immutable, signed, and exportable as PDF, Excel or JSON. The export pack is structured to match what DPDPA, §41C, Schedule M and FSSAI Schedule 4 inspectors request.

How it all connects

One event. Six audit narratives.

Every gate read, every kiosk submission, every certificate validation lands in a single tamper-evident, signed log. From that one event, six modules produce six distinct evidence trails, for six different audits, six different inspectors and six different heads inside the plant.
